ICEBREAKER——Imagine you could be an Olympic Athlete. What Olympic event would you chose to compete in?

APPLY THE BIBLE  - Read Hebrews 12:2-3 – What  does it mean to endure hostility?

Q1— Will we throw in the towel and walk away?  Will we be content to just "let it be," never working towards making things better?  Will we be willing to look past the annoyances and differences and love the person anyway?

Q2— Can we create a Marriage Where Love Endures All Things? ?.

Q3—Do you agree with the statement:  “we live in a culture that’s so self-centered  -- when we don’t get what we want – we’re out of here.”

Q4—Pastor Paul made the statement: This love that endures – stays – it remains – when everyone and everything is shouting at you to leave – and to quit.   . Explain how that works in your life

 

A LITTLE LOVE HOMEWORK:

· Read Psalm 136 this week—and say the words “His Love endures forever” everyday. And write down how it changed your day.

·  TALK ABOUT LOVE WEEK—how did your group do? How can we continue to show God’s love? PRAY THAT GOD WILL USE YOUR GROUP TO SHOW THE LOVE OF JESUS
