________________ of Americans, feel that rudeness is a serious problem and that it is getting worse.

Paul tells us in 1 Cor. 13:5 – “Love is not ________________”

The word – _______________ - It means to act _________________ in a way that _______________ others – it means to be shameful or behave disgracefully…..

These values are established by _________________ – their taught and modeled by ______________________

This love is not about “What are my ______________?” – It’s about “What is ________________”

So love becomes the ultimate ______________________ – the ultimate _____________________ – where we as Christians are to judge ourselves

– God called us – His Church – to ________________ culture – not the other way around

1. Stop sign – the sign means – _________________ – and __________

2. No U Turn  - In other words _______________________________

3. The Yield Sign—That has to do with yielding your ______________—and _____________________

4. The Scenic Route—  Those signs are telling us to slow down – _____________________

“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always preservers. Love never fails.”

A LITTLE LOVE HOMEWORK:

Sit down with a loved one, and watch a favorite movie. Watch especially for scenes where someone is rude. What happened in the story because of the rude behavior? What might have happened had the behavior not occurred? How would a humble spirit have changed things?

CHANCE TO SERVE Have you and your group determined how you will serve during LOVE WEEK? Discuss what kinds of events would fit your Group. Yes, you can participate in more than one outreach if that works for your Group! Thank you for your hearts of compassion towards our “neighbors.”
